Description:
The Pirates, Vikings and Knights II theme music was written to capture the dynamism and fun of the game, whilst providing an introduction to the different characters available in the game.
From wave lapped shores with dark shadows lurking under the waters, the pirates theme emerges. Their cheeky and mischievous character is expressed in squeezebox, mandolin, harpsichord and xylophone all over creeping tuba and strings.
The Vikings burst onto the scene with their horns and battle drums. Dark menacing brass echoes the doom they will bring to all they encounter!
The Knights kneel in quiet prayer, contemplating the battle ahead. Gregorian modal chanting is enveloped in a rich woodwinds and string glow, a heavenly choir assists the knights in their crusade.
Distant drums signal the approach of the horde. They build and we can hear both pirates and vikings approach. The military snares rally the troops and the one final Viking horn unleashes the battle! |
